For various reasons, many brands impose restrictions on regional sales licencing. For retailers aspiring to expand their business in the overseas arena, this could be a headache. However, there're always ways to persuade the brands to loosen their restrictions.

Azoya recently helped its retailer partners gain the approval to sell specific brands to the China market. Reassured by Azoya's capability of enhancing the brands' recognition in China, several brands have authorised its retailers to sell the products on their branded Chinese sites.

WMF, a high-end tableware brand from Germany, together with Le Creuset, a premium French cookware manufacturer, recently decided to authorise Springlane to sell their products to China via the Chinese site http://cn.springlane.de

The decision came after Springlane launched its branded Chinese site and saw steady orders coming in. The Chinese site has enabled Springlane to diffrentiate itself from other competitors on various eCommerce platforms. By doing so, Springlane can establish its own independent retail brand image.

To emphasize WMF and Le Creuset's unique brand exposure, the Chinese site has created a "shop in shop" for each of the two brands. Visit here and here to have a look. Assigning a dedicated page to one brand will create a differentiated status for the brands.

Moroccanoil, a famous body care manufacturer, also licenced Feelunique to sell its products to China via the Chinese site. Here is the launch campaign page.

As the business grows and market booms, Azoya is poised to gain more leverage to persuade brands to loosen their restricrions and encourage retailers to expand their product line.
