Les BigBoss Summer Edition 2016 has taken place in Crète, Greece from 3-5, June.180 CEOs and big bosses from eCommerce met for three days at the hotel Capsis Elite Resort Out of the Blue. The objective of this event, as translated from French, is: Build relationships and identify new partners .
Upon arrival at the hotel on Friday, after a quick lunch, two "speed meetings" punctuate the afternoon. 2000 5-minute-long appointments were organized between 180 owners of eCommerce (called the "big boss", or advertisers) and 60 providers. Every big boss agrees to meet at least 13 providers. "It's equivalent of nine months of appointment," said Stephane Rouquette, Azoya's managing director in France. The objective of this kind of organisation is to find providers that meet the needs of eCommerce leaders and exchange among peers. "This generates an average of one to two deals with 'big boss' and 6 deals with providers," said Stephane.
