GLADD is Japan's largest flash sales site, with a membership base of 2.6 million users and annual GMV topping 200 million USD in 2017. While GLADD is a general merchandiser, it is most well known for selling lifestyle brands in fashion, cosmetics, and home & furniture. GLADD boasts over 5,000 brands on its platform, selling a mix of Japanese and non-Japanese brands, such as Marni, APC, Furla, Tomorrowland, United Arrows, Coach, and Petit Bateau.

GLADD was originally founded in 2009 by Frenchman Thibault Villet, who had also founded Glamour Sales, a leading luxury goods marketplace in China. In June of 2018, GLADD purchased Gilt Group Japan, giving it a total market share of 80% in the flash sales market.
